IT support services by IT professionals for the Southwest, Midlands and Wales
What is outsourcing?
Outsourcing is allowing an external person or company to operate a particular business function, such as payroll or IT Support, as if they were an internal department. You still have full control of what you want to do and how you want to spend your budget. We will provide free advice on best practice, and implement your strategy for you.
Why outsourcing is good for you
You get an entire department of professionals dedicated to the outsourced function, often for a fraction of the cost of just one employee. The fixed monthly cost allows for much easier cash flow forecasts, and it is very easy to calculate the savings from salaries, employer contributions, and general overheads, that are no longer needed. This frees up a vast amount of budget to be used either on the IT budget itself (such as server and desktop replacements), or on functions such as sales and marketing which will have a greater effect on the building of your business.
How we do it
Our staff and monitoring systems work in two ways, proactive and reactive.
Staff reactively work on projects, service requests and incidents logged by your users to our service desk.
Our monitoring systems proactively fix system errors and warnings that are not always noticed by users but are always logged by the operating system, restarting failed services before the user realises, for example, that the printer service has stopped.
What outsourcing is not
It is not off-shoring. Off-shoring is when a particular function is sent overseas, such as bank call centres or manufacturing. All of our engineers and our entire business is based in the UK.
